A few years ago, I was in the doctor's office and my mom was filling out registration forms about her and I. I looked over her shoulder, and she was at the page about her. She wrote that she had had 5 pregnancies and 4 births. There are only 4 children in my family (including me, of course). She wasn't pregnant then (she had had her tubes tied or something, it came up in a fight between her and my father). She wrote that she had had no miscarriages and no abortions. I haven't asked her about it, and I don't think it was a mistake. What could've happened?

that is a very sensitive topic that only your mother can answer and others only speculate. i suggest you ask her out of respect for your family, and her. it is only right

One child could have been still born or one child could have been adopted out. Those are the only two possibilities if she told the truth in filling out the form. It is a sensitive topic and I would approach it with compassion and not be defensive or try to make it about you.

somebody might have placed rolhypnol in his beer. i'm uncertain of the spelling. Ruffie, or something like that. it is ordinary as a date-rape drug, motives amnesia, you awaken and don't be responsive to what surpassed off. probably deadly, very risky. If this became the reason, he ought to be careful to any extent further approximately the place he is going and who he became out with. yet another rationalization could be that he does not decide so which you would be able to be responsive to the place he became.

twins would have been counted as one pregnancy: two births. Is it possible that she had a child earlier in her life that she gave up for adoption?

Could one of the births produced twins and one did not live?
