He was pretty good in 8 Mile, but in order to better assess his acting talents, I would have to see him in more movies and tackeling different roles... challenging ones.

In 8 Mile he was doing a caricature of himself......not much of a stretch.
Put him in a project that's different from that and then we can talk, it's difficult to say he's a good actor when he's just being himself.
However, I've seen some of his videos, they do show he has a sense of humor and doesn't take himself THAT seriously, so I'd say he has potential, but give him some time if he chooses to do anything else.
Please don't think I'm trashing him, I'm just pointing out the facts.

Yes he's got talent. He's starring as the bounty hunter in a remake of "Have Gun, Will Travel" which is currently in production. "8 Mile" is one of my favorite movies, and Eminem gave a terrific performance as Jimmy Smith Jr. Eminem is so hot too lol.

No fan of rap here. I was forced to watch 8 Mile (either that or leave my own home while my teenagers watched it) and I was truly impressed with his acting ability. I'm still no fan of his music genre, but the boy has potential in Hollywood if he chooses to take advantage of it.

I think he can act but am not sure he has a range. He was good in 8 Mile but that movie was his story and was essentially who he is. He could pull on emotion because these experiences really happened to him. Could he convincingly play another role? That remains to be seen.

i think he was pretty good in 8 Mile. very good infact. but we havnt really seen him in anything else so we cant actually say, can we? but he is a good rapper! lol i love him! hehe

eminem is extremely talented, its too bad he's in a genre that is so easily mocked, he should run for president, he couldnt be any worse than that peice of **** bush.
