um will you please help me?

Question

ok well I have had and still have a crush on this girl that i met at a rink. anyway I finally got her as a friend but I havent seen her in a month because the rink is resurfacing the ice and wont be back to the normal schedule until next month. Anyway I have her as a friend and talk to her through email and IM. I want to see her next month at the rink or maybe even before and she is really REALLY shy she is 15 yrs old (I am 14) and she does not have a bfand has never dated or anything. Anyway we are "just friends" but I want so bad to just give her a hug. I know a kiss is out of the question because once I was joking around with her on IM and she was telling me how annoying it was with this one guy that liked her and tried to impress her and throws footballs and soccerballs and stuff at her and anyway I joked around and said "lol has he kissed you yet" and she said "ew no!" anyway I want to HUG her and I dont know if it is a good idea or when to do it. Should I hug her?when?whatkind

BTW I have known her for a month. Also she said she doesnt want a bf and that she isnt crushing on anyone. She is a nice girl but very blunt. being blunt doesnt bother me though. about asking her about a hug i dont know that i want to do that because what if she says no? if i actually gave her one it could be different?

Okay, Dude - he's the deal...

Be cool! Next time you guys are together, tell her a joke or a funny story and lightly touch her elbow or shoulder, but don't hold it there and see how she responds. If she's okay with that then do it again later on in the conversation, but don't over do it. Then later on, check your watch and say, "Damn, I'm late! Gotta run!" then quickly hug her, tell her you'll talk to her later and get out of there. But make sure you talk to her later!!! Also, make sure you're wearing a fine smelling cologne - something that she'll remember and enjoy!!

OK well, if you guys are just friend then i think it is ok just to hug..... i think that the right time is just when either
1. she is sad because she is hurt
OR
2.As a greating mabey just a nice FRIEND to FRIEND hug when the next time you see her. mabey you should just ask her to mabey she will say yes mabey she will say no
If she says yes then just giver her a hug
If she says no then just say OK and go on with your life it is ok to ask for a hug and it is no big deal if she says no.....
you can also just take it a step at a time and just get to know her then tell her that you like her and mabey she will feel the same
You may just think that she dosent like someone and mabey she really does feel the same way as you do about her. trust me i have had the same feeling.... i was tottaly crushing on this guy at school but we where just friends and i wanted to ask him for a hug but it was to late because he said that he had a gf so go for it because it may be to late for you by the time that you ask her..... but mabey you can ask her for a friendly hug..... lol sorry if that dosent help but just trust me on this i have had the same thing happen......... go for it

well i think you should respect the fact that she isnt looking for a bf right now. i think you should wait awhile before you hug her and if you do make sure its just a friendly hug... maybe hug her when you see her again at the rink and say that you missed her or something, but i would leave it at that.

the ew no part of the answer she gave you , was not directed at kissing, but her lack of being attracted to this soccer/football throwing guy, tell her how you miss her in pm, make a day date?, and have fun, dont be afraid to kiss her, when the time is right you both will know it!. it is apparent she does like you has well, or she wouldnt have put down the other guy at all, she did this to please you. good luck!
