I would rather be both cause if you are both then you feel the same way the other person feel but if your only one then your taking advantage of the other persons feeling think about this way it's like having sugar but no koolaid to go with it see you need both to taste good just like you need love in order to be loved back.

I'd rather love someone and be secure enough to know that they love me back. When it comes to family, I love them no matter what because I know they do the same for me.

I would rather love. At least that way I could feel good about what I was contributing to others, even if they couldn't return the feeling.

both, actually. but, having experienced both separately from the other, I would rather be loved. Loving someone that doesn't love you is way too painful..
