is there a way to take videos on my computer and turn them into slow mo videos by using some free software or somthing?

There is a program in Windows called Windows Movie Maker. It's in most versions of XP and its not to bad. It can be a little tricky at times but it can slow down video no problem

In windows movie maker you can only make vid go at 50% its normal speed by going to tools>video effects then selecting and dropping the effect slow down onto your vid.
