The movies are a great place to go, tickets usually run around 7-9 dollars. You can catch a daytime movie for half the price.
Going to the park for a nice quiet picnic, and games. Basketballs or soccer balls can be obtained at Wal-mart for around 8 dollars. Plus there is nothing like being a kid again on those playground slides and swings.
Camping can actually be done for under $40 dollars, but if you are skiddish of sleeping in the open I do not reccomend it.
Local swimming pools normally have fair prices. Local lakes and rivers can sometimes be great free spots to swim. You kind of have to check out your local area.
Window shopping is free. Hence the word "window shopping", you browse but do not buy.
Local concerts at bars are normally 10 dollars. Who knows that up and coming band could be the next big hit. Plus when you are with friends it really does not matter if that band is good or not.
