what is the green leaf thing in the commercials? sometimes its green and other times its yellow, what is it and what does it have to do with fruit?

Judging from the tag in my skivvies (sorry- I had to look) it looks like grape leaves. There are green and red grapes on the tag so the color of the leaves probably depends on the color of the grape.
I love Fruit of the Loom stuff. Got all kinds from t-shirts to shorts.
