The human race will never learn. War is not the answer, most of us know it but we, unfortunately, cannot make everyone see that there are always two perspectives to every situation and no one side is totally right and no one side is totally wrong. Nothing is worth blowing innocent children to pieces. A piece of land ? A barrel of oil ? A God ?

We are supposedly living through W.W.111.

If you follow the money trail, you will see where war is needed to keep economies going.

Many wars have no defining purpose.

War doesn't solve problems, seems it creates new ones as younger generations inherit the hate and do exactly what previous gnerations did.

It's a never ending cycle.

Unfortunately, sometimes there is no reasoning with governments and war is the only solution. I am not an advocate for war and think that our military personel are put under undue pressure but I do realise that sometimes it is a necessary evil.
For example I don't believe that any amount of discussion with a leader like Hitler would have prevented the atrocities he committed.

Wars can solve a problem, but only if they are finished.... a rare occurance in the post WW2 years... Granada being the only success.

Politicians do not have the will or the brains to fight a war to a successful conclusion. I hope Bush proves me wrong.... history says he will not, political correctness and leftist 'feel good' will interfer.

Blair and Bush thinks so but that is only to show off the power that they have.

I think its disgusting that they send our troops to war but if world war 3 broke out then they would be the first people to get protection even though it was their fault in the first place!

the people who don't die in the war. coincindentailly these are the smae people that profit most from the war. dick chaney used to be the ceo of a company called haliburton, the same company that got the job to handle oil in iraq when we took it over. no other companies were offered to bid on the job.

war=money.
money solves problems, for the people getting it.

Have you ever heard of the term 'the holocaust must never happen again'? No-one in their right mind wants war, but sometimes talking doesn't work and drastic action needs to be taken. It is a basic human right to defend ourselves no matter how ugly.

The problem is, we still haven't found an alternative way of dealing with things. And in 1939, I do believe that war was the only way of stopping Hitler, and yes, sometimes there is no alternative.
