unfortunally no, you can't get clomid over the counter. Lucky for you is that clomid is one of the cheapest fertility drugs around. Reasons that you have to get a Rx for clomid is because of the many side effects. Also if you're not being monitored you can over-stimulate the ovaries, which can be quite painful for you. Good luck!!

i've seen it online however usually that is coming from countries with very loose regulations about what is in their drugs. IMHO it's probably not even clomid. See your doctor. besides clomid is not something that should be self prescribed you can end up with ovary hyper stimulation which could rupture your ovaries. also multiples are not as cool as they sound. it costs about 4500 on average to deliver a single child in the us triplets average is $128,000!!!!!

Please do not listen to the people who tell you that you can order it online. Although this is true, this is a drug that can be dangerous when not completely monitored by an infertility specialist or OB/gyn. You need to have blood work and sonograms to determine if any and how many eggs have formed, etc. There are also a variety of reports that state many of the online pharmacies from other countries are not monitored and medication can range from ineffective to dangerous.

Nope, it is a fertility treatment that can only be prescribed by your doctor, and doctors usually prescribe it after they have diagnosed the patient with fertility problems, the patient has to be eligible for the treatment.

Sometimes people appear to be paranoid about the unfamiliar and, in particular, paranoid about “socialized” medicine. However, other countries which we generally regard as our friends and allies have national health care and they have not slipped down to Hades in the proverbial hand-basket. It can be offered in democratic, free countries.
If there was some baseline of prescription medication services for all Americans, I wonder where the price of the above Rx would settle? Can the USA dip its toes into the waters of national health care starting with medication prices? I feel there should be concern for citizens who are struggling economically but who are above levels to qualify for Medicaid, and other low-income services, and too young to qualify Medicare and older low-income citizen assistance plans. In 2012 the government passed a bill that allows an importation of prescription pills of up to $2200 from abroad.
If the amount is more than that then you will have to apply for a certificate.
