Not always. Some people lose their mucous plug with no blood at all.

Everyone is different.

I have had two pregnancies and with the first a singleton I had bloody show where i lost my mucos plug then with my second twins I had nothing my water just burst and I never had and blood at all. So no it dosent always happen but if you are worried and bleeding then I would go the dr cause it could be something worst, if your not bleeding adn having cramping like labor I would still go in all they can do is send you home to wait it out but better safe than sorry. Good luck

A bloody show is usually a good indicator for us and if any woman calls L&D and says they are experincing bleeding we tell them to come in and get checked out.

I had that happen. Thats when I deceided it was time to go to the hospital. But I guess from what I can gather it doesnt always happen. Sometimes your water just breaks (mine didnt). It all depends on your body.
