The tampon is inserted into the vagina, slightly angled up towards the base of your spine. It will not fit into your urethra. Each box comes with instructions inside of it.
Tampons are great especially during swimming and exercising. They need to be changed as often as you change your sanitary napkin.

This is the same opening that a penis is inserted.

A female has 3 openings: her vagina, urethra, and anus.

If you are menstruating, you are old enough to use a tampon.

I'm glad you're not planning on wearing tampons because you sound like you have no clue about anything.... I mean, ANYTHING. Of course it's "where the boy's penis" goes because that's called the vagina and it's where your menstrual flow escapes every month. Where else would it be located? The urinary tract? Your anus? Those places have nothing to do with reproduction. You can tell that a tampon is in the right place because there's no where else it could possibly fit comfortably. Please don't ask where the vaginal opening is next....

I'm hoping you're very young or were raised in a convent.

Yes, it goes in the same place. If you put it 'in the wrong hole' you'll know immediately because it will be painful/uncomfortable. Once you have a tampon in the right place the right way, you can't feel it at all.

Actually, I would recommend tampons. They're a lot more convenient than pads. Unless I'm having PMSy symptoms, a lot of the time I forget I'm even menstruating! It can be a little bit daunting to consider at first, but it doesn't hurt, and it will help you be more familiar with your body. (And you can go swimming wearing one too!)

You insert a tampon into the vagina, which is where a man inserts his penis when a man and woman are having sexual intercourse. You will know you have the tampon in the right spot because you won't be able to feel it anymore.

Personally, I don't wear tampons either. The "sweet spot" for the tampon is right when you don't feel it anymore, but you could insert a toothpick and I would still be able to feel it. I'm 30, and no virgin, but I've always been very sensitive in my nether regions.

Yes, it is "wer the boys penis goes." You'll know because the muscles of your vagina will hold it in place.

yes it goes where "the boys penis goes" but i think they would be much more use to you if you put them in your ears to stop your brain from leaking out. what a daft question

yeah, that's where it goes....you know it's in the right place if it stays in there...there isn't that many "holes" down there, the pee hole, anal and vagina...it won't fit in where you pee and it doesn't go where you poop...so you only have one option left...
