You're on to something.
The leaseholder, Larry Silverstein, who leased the buildings for 99 years from the Port Authority, did win more than 3 billion dollars in court for the 911 destruction, but that was not the main reason for 911: It was some very nasty folks in the Bush administration led by Cheney and Rumsfeld who decided they needed a new catastrophe like Pearl Harbor to awe and frighten the American public into allowing the rich to consolidate their power by the US becoming a fascist state that could project military power into the oil-rich countries of the Middle East. In retrospect that is exactly how they used the disaster.
The evidence is now out there that the Towers and Building Seven collapsed because of controlled demolition from cutting charges placed in advance by demolition experts. There's no other rational explanation.
Professor Steven E Jones has a great article on the internet showing the impact of the planes and the resulting fires could not have caused such collapse.
So the wise crackers claiming that you are nuts, wear a tin hat, etc., are the ones being fooled and should view DVD's like you have found that actually make a convincing case 911 was an inside job.
One whistleblower to have already come forward is Kevin Ryan a former manager at Underwriter Labs who provides details of the NIST report claiming the towers came down because of the jets being a deliberate fraud.
The showing July 29 on CSPAN of the 911 Scholars event was a breakthrough in finally allowing the public to appreciate how strong and abundant is the evidence that 911 was a deliberate US government plot. Video of that is available for viewing on Google: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5004704309041471296&q=alex+symposium.

So the owner has insurance (I don't see how a lease would help either way) for terrorist attacks... Could this be because of some future knowledge or is it more likely that since the towers had been targets of terrorist attacks before he was just being smart.
So if it is impossible to make those calls, but yet they did, did we give them... magic cell phones before hand, so they could make calls? Did we get them from the same guy that sold Jack his beanstalk beans?
You have just been suckered by left wing propaganda, I hope you didn't waste good money on that DVD. It might make a nice coaster at least.

There is actually more evidence to support this claim then anything the government of this country has come out with.
Why would they cover up the videos from the plain that supposedly crashed into the Pentagon? Why would they allow conspiracy theories to continue if they know they are wrong? If they would release the videos and prove that a plane hit the Pentagon then people would probably shut up about this. But alas, 5 years later we still do not have a definitive answer.
And yes, the towers were sold 6 weeks before September 11th. You can go to New York and look this up in public records. There is to much fishy stuff going on still to this day in this country to not consider the statements that have been made about Sept. 11th.
Do you guys all know that some about some of the contingency plans the government drafted for invading Cuba and other countries? Stating they could shoot down one of our own and blame it on Cuba to get Fidel out of power?
The government in general, not just republicans, are to blame for this entire mess we are in. It's a shame to think that the government would do this to their own people but it quite possibly is a sad truth.
FEMA, who we gave nearly $35 million to, came up with purely laughable answers for Sept. 11th, stating quite frankly that "we do not know what happened."
The bottom line is, people will do ANYTHING for money. Including killing thousands of their own people and stepping on the lives of people they couldn't care less about.

It simply amazes me that people buy into this garbage. Did you ever stop to even consider the number of people that would have to be involved in a cover up that HUGH. Do you honestly believe they could get ALL those people to simply go along with killing thousands for money. You honestly don't believe at least ONE single person would have Blowed the whistle. Think about this if someone actually had CONCRETE evidence to prove even a tad of the BS being put out about the twin towers. The reporters would be beating each other to death to get that story. People can create theories and BS stories all the time that doesn't make them true.

People like you are the same people who believe FDR was behind Pearl Harbor, JFK was shot by the Mafia and the moon landings were fake. The answers are right in front of you; you just choose not to believe them for whatever reason. 9/11 was carried out by a group of a**hole radical Muslim terrorists with box cutters who got past security into those planes because we weren't ready for such a situation. I agree that there are certain dimensions of the 9/11 attacks that are a little strange and unexplained, like WTC 7 and stuff like that, but people like you take it way too far.
I assume the DVD you're talking about is Loose Change. I included below a link to a complete rebuttal of everything in that movie. Whether you choose to read it is up to you, but just remember, the facts are right there.

Not another loose change moron...
I like Maddox's take on why that movie is a crock of sh!t...the guy who made it is still alive. If the gov't had anything to do with killing that many people, do you really think they would worry about taking out one lunatic conspiracy theorist?
Use your head, and do the research...the con. theorists are discounting so much evidence to push their own agendas. Why is it so diffucult to believe that there may be people in the world insane enough to attack one of the biggest symbols of capitalism.
Our gov't isn't perfect (most politicians are pretty dirty to be honest) but there's no way that they could do something so publicly and keep everything behind the scenes a secret. There may be more to the story than we know, but pull your head outta there bud...ya got corn on your nose.

Just because it's said, doesn't mean it's true. About the phones, I don't think it's that you can't, but that you shouldn't because of interference with the plane's equipment. After all, they do have phones on the plane you can use. Who says they were flying high enough not to get reception, and even if you could get too high for some phones to work, what about satellite phones? It's not bad to ask questions, but it is to just accept answers without thought or research.

As for flight 93...they have acutally recordings of the telphone calls that some of the people made to family members.
Alot of innocent Americans died that day, so just shut up about the conspiracy stuff. It makes me so made when people say that stuff about 911. Get a life people!!!

Regarding the insurance policy, it was less than the upfront payment. It's like buying a car for $20,000, knowing that 6 weeks later, you might get cash of $5,000.
Good job on believing in conspiracies though.
