f = (9/5)c+32
-32 -32
f-32 = (9/5)c
*(5/9) *(5/9)

(5/9)(f-32)=c


12) 98.6 f = 37 c

Get C by itself. so....

Take the temperature in Fahrenheit subtract 32.
Divide by 1.8. (9 divided by 5)
The result is degrees Celsius.
