Click on your wireless network connection--click on view wireless networks--if there are any networks in range it will show you.--you most likely will not be able to connect to any of them unless they are "unsecure" which can cause some safety issues but...I've done it. It is best to choose the one with the most bars because that means it has the best service. I have cable internet but if my cable is ever down I live in a "hot spot" as well! :-) I hope this helps and good luck.

Click on the icon on the taskbar for wireless services, then find a connection that you would like to connect to, click that and then click connect on the bottom right.

if you are using windows as your wireless connection software, just go to VIEW MY WIRELESS CONNECTIONS and then view wireless networks. If there is one available it should list itself.

if your pc detects a wireless router it tells u then u can connect if its not a secured network.In your own house you need a wireless router.

Click on the wireless icon ( its there somewhere ), it will try and find one .. but it wont .. cos there isn't any .. you will have to pay via an isp.
