Take one look at all the postings, not everyone can be wrong get out of this relationship now, before you get too involved. He will try to emotionally blackmail you, so you will need to be strong and ignore his tactics. He will say things like he will kill himself if you leave or he will mend his ways if you give him another chance. He sounds as though he needs help but you are not the one to provide that help. He needs help from someone who is objective and not subjective like you. And whilst it is admirable of you to want to help him, this will only prolong the agony. Go now my dear, or suffer the consequences. Sounds melodramatic well it is not. I have been there and worn the tea shirt twice. My life was ruined by a bad tempered, jealous and over possessive man.
At the end of the day you are the only one who can make the desicion, but I do hope you will think very carefully and make the one that is best for you.
I hope that everything turns out well for you.

Irrational jealousy is one of the usual characteristics of a violent, abusive partner. Do you really want to be stuck with somebody who is constantly LOOKING FOR things to be angry about? Adults don't have tantrums; get rid of this little boy and find a man.
On that last paragraph, getting married isn't like buying a "fit it up" house. If the roof leaks when you buy it, plan on spending the rest of your with buckets to catch the drips. If anything, men get "drippier", not better.

No sister gal it doesnt get any better. It only gets worse. Stop seeing him now and do not marry him. If it hasnt already it may turn physically violent. I wish someone had told me all this before I found out the hard way.

You do realize that a person is on their best behavior when they are dating? He will be worse if you marry.
He sounds a little immature to me. I would really get cold feet when I thought about spending my whole life with him.
How about this answer - get the heck out of there and find someone who is more stable and mature!!!

No it will only get worse. You should not marry him. He may even become abusive. If is is this controlling now imagine if you were his wife. You should find someone more secure in themselves and treats you like a human being rather than a dog he can control.

No hon; it just gets worse and worse. Soon he will be telling you what you can and cant wear, not to wear makeup, who your friends should be, following you around to see who you talk to, and if you dont obey, they hit you. Its called being a control freak, and I made the mistake of marrying one- dont you do the same; IT IS HELL. Dump him, now; there are plenty of better ones about, and the longer you leave it, the worse it will be.

To answer your first question, No, it will never get any better without a great deal of help and effort on his part. No, you cannot help him. A therapist MAY be able to help but he has to recognize he has a problem.
IMHO, he is VERY likely to be physically abusive in additon to his present mental abuse. RUN, do not walk to get away from him!

he's not any longer controlling you, youre surrendering all administration TO him, no one will recognize you in case you eat s**t like that. promote off him day after today and attempt to verify why you need to enable someone take care of you want that, or you need to discover that that is a progression that repeats, you need to properly be actively searching for adult males who take care of you want that.

No. GET OUT NOW. He will only get worse - or at the very least stay the same. GET OUT NOW!!!! Men like this tend to end up using their fists on women. How do I know? Well, let's just say, I know all right.
