The South is Rising and has been since Reconstruction, not just in Population but, in Politics and Media and Culture just not the way some Rebels would like it to be. So for those who look for the Confederate States of America to get re-established go join some Civil War re-enactment club.

They already did and they took your job and Congressional seat. Check the Census data, the population center of the nation is heading South. The Rust Belt is dying. Also, the idiot who made the third world remark should try leaving Dagoville, NJ for a change. The Southern states are some of the most beautiful in the nation. Not everyone is a soulless suburbanite drone.

When did it ever rise to Begin with? If it wasn't attached to the rest of the country it would still be a Third Wold Country, just like it has always been.

probably never since their original dominance depended on an unlimited supply of slave labor to harvest cotton. unfortunately tractors and combines have long since replaced men in the fields and the south has no other cash crop. you should really try living in the present.
