No, without ears to receive the sound waves there would be no sound. Imagine being on top of a mountain with a
telescope and you witness a tree falling miles away. You would see the tree falling but would be to far away to hear any sound.

No. Sound is defined as the neural response to airborne vibrations of matter as recieved by the tympanic membrane of the human ear. Therefore, all that is generated are vibrations from the tree falling. Unless a human ear recieves those vibrations, it is not scientifically classified as sound.
