Later, he gets a job as a free-lance photographer and takes pics of himself as Spiderman. He had a girlfriend, Gwen Stacey, who was killed by the green goblin. He eventually married Mary Jane Watson. His best friend was Harry whose dad was the green goblin; after his death, Harry took on the role. He has had run ins with the alien symbiotes Venom and Carnage (“father” and “son”). Formed a relationship with Venom but got rid of him. Venom has been wanting him back since (love/hate kind of thing) Carnage had a “son” Toxin, who, after joining with a cop tries to be a good guy and is an ally of Spidey. Recently in the Marvel Comic World (Civil War) Spider-man has “outed” himself and with Iron-man seeks to hunt down the superheroes who refuse to register under the super-human registration act.
