The movie was a retread of "The Prisoner," the Patrick McGoohan television series of the '60's.
The show was way ahead of its time, and linited to 17 installments.
The series was awesome; The Truman Show was somewhat boring and predictable.
EdTV, another knock-off, was worse than The Truman Show.

no, i would have to say "Punch Drunk Love" with adam sandler was probably the most pointless and boring movie i've ever seen.
