The last person who lived at the house was about to start after he was told water was not a problem to find. i will be starting again, i have been told you can do this yourself has anybody tried

You need to hire a bore hole drill and then drill down and you find water! Easy. If it's under pressure, you have a spring and won't need to pump it up. If you do need to pump it up, try a windmill! See problem solved - top answer and I get 10 points!

One more thing - don't forget to get your licence - around £5,000 the last I heard - but that was a few years ago. But worth it - you can bottle the stuff and make a fortune!

They did that on Only Fools and Horses. Del Boy told Rodney they would be millionaires next year.

I don't know if you remember or not , but there was a guy from Scotland who drilled down in the garden, and had his heating installed from it, seemingly all he had to do was put a pump in the garden to push the hot water round the radiators as it was on a loop.
and he presto constant heating, At least until the earth crust cools down.
Every tom dick and harry, has there own bore hole in Spain.??

Check the information, before you start, drilling the bore hole is not a problem, but get a survey done & permission to extract water from it.
