I don't know why people are like that. I think it's funny because the only truly happy couples I know are gay..............What does that tell you? Most gay people have a personality that is different from straight people. They are more articulate and creative. They don't seem to carry the baggage around that straight people do.
I would rather be gay and have interesting friends than have the
"NORMAL" straight people. I don't care about Nascar, hunting, drinking and making a fool of myself, farting or burbing and think I am funny. It is amazing women tolerate this. Then it's,"C'mon baby, I'm in the mood." That would MAKE someone gay!!!!

This is why I stay away from this category, I get very angry and I don't like the feeling of anger because someone is stupid.........

Here's one for you. A "semi" aquaintance asked me, "Is she your friend? You do know she is gay, don't you?" My answer was, "Yes, I know she is gay. Don't worry, I can't catch it. I am already gay. It's O.K. she won't hurt you."
You think she wasn't at a total loss for words? I wanted to ask her how she could stand a hairy guy with a stick going after her, but I didn't............................

Most of the time it's because people are just plain ignorant and don't know any better. Fear also has a lot to do with it. I used to be weird about gay dudes, but I grew out of it. Sometimes I think it's because dudes have trouble with fact that their butts move when they walk. I also think people are weird about what they put in their mouths or butts.

Hate is a 3 step process. Let's use George Bush as an example:

1) George Bush does not understand
homosexuals or homosexuality
2) George Bush fears what he does not
understand.
3) George Bush hates what he fears.

So, ultimately all religious fanatics and fearful humans (usually of lower than average intelligence) end up hating what they fear because they don't understand it.

Make sense?

The hatred against gay folk has intensified as we have gained more recognition and rights. This is because although the haters are a minority, many of those who don't hate us are afraid to stand up for us, for fear that they would be hated also.

I don't hate them, I don't know them to hate them, but the people who do hate them have no real right to hate them either. Then again, the easy way out for people trying to deal with things that oppose their own personal beliefs - is to hate. Hatred builds a big solid wall between the haters and the things they hate and by hating, they don't have to deal with it.

It's not personal. They just hate the idea of gay people.

People hate us because we are better and certainly more attractive than them and also because they realise that the real disgusting act is the act of straight sex!

I agree with Georgie Porgie, people are jealous of your friends because they are so proud of their sexuality and their lifestyle and not afraid to show it. I hope you stick around your awesome buds!
