I went for a ride and my bike siezed up. I took off the head cover and my cam had a groove worn in it. I just put on a new head head cover cam and end cap

Might not have been properly broken in. Did you use cam assembly lube? Sometimes the lobes can lose hardening and fail.

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions.
I don't know if you're talking about a Harley trike or a Jap ATC. Everything has a different oil delivery system to the cam. Even motors of the same manufacturer.

Are the oil flow passages clear? If this unit has a screen on the oil pick up, is it clean and clear? do you keep the oil changed on it? do you over rev it? lot's of things can cause this. The previous answer that says to name make, model and ###'s is very important, like he says.
