I have already conquered INTENSITY, ODD THOMAS and COLD FIRE, enjoying INTENSITY and COLD FIRE the most, of those two, enjoying COLD FIRE the most. (Sorry for the rant, just name all the titles that aren't crap.)
Please only state books you've read...I like psychotic-ness stories more than just sheer murder...more the supernatural than the violence.

Actually, I find Stephen King kind of tedious and boring for my tastes...however incremental the difference between his general works and Koontz'...

Twilight Eyes was pretty freaky. I was "watching" folks for weeks after reading it. Mr. Murder was interesting, and weird. It kind of reminded me of a Stephen King book though (Secret Window, Secret Garden). Hideaway was just creepy, the supernatural aspect was thought provoking. The Servants of Twilight was the first Koontz book I read. It was good, I found myself getting mad at the whole situation rather than scared. Makes me wonder what I would do if in the same situation.

I've read each of his books at least twice and seen most of the movies made from his books(Mr. Murder, Phantoms, Sole Survivor, and one or two others were made into movies) My favorites have to be Lightning and Twilight Eyes(from the early years) and From the Corner of His Eye of the later works. If you're more into the supernatural side of his writing his most recent books are good for that, although some of them have an existential bent.

Oh, i am the biggest Konntz fan!!!! I have read them all. i read the latest book, The husband, but was a little disapointed, as I like the more supernatural ones also, Forever odd was Ok, also, but I felt that maybe odd, should have been left alone.Ice bound was different, as was Tick Tock. Just read them all, even when they are not my favorite, they are all good!!!! I enjoy some Stephan King also, U? The Frankenstien series is good too

The Watchers is one of his best works. It is his first book I believe. It is wonderfully written and has a great plot.
