I'm worried that I'm driving my real estate agent crazy because I've already looked at about 20 places and I'm still looking.

I looked at about 20.

Don't worry about driving the real estate person crazy. It's their job to help you find the perfect house.

2 Just so happened we liked everything in the second home. It's close to the time that we'll be looking for a smaller home. We will look at 100 homes if we have to. A real estate agent does this on a regular basis. At times they luck out and only show 1 or 2 homes, other times they show many. This all goes with the job. I would not worry about it. Remember, you will be paying for this home and if you are not happy with it - why buy it? Happy house hunting!!

Have you thought about switching real estate agents? If you feel they are being driven crazy by you then they must be giving you an indication of this, plus a good real estate agent will work with you after each home showing to find out what you liked / disliked in each property, this way they will make sure you only see houses that they thinks you will like, minimising most importantly the amount of time you spend looking rather than their time - if you want to see every house on the market thats your call not theirs!

I buy RE as rental units. Typically I preview 100 homes on line befor I buy. Of the 100 homes I drive by 25, of the 25 I drive by I go into 10 of the 10 I buy 1. So I lookk at 100 houses befor I buy 1. 100:1

We had looked at about 10 homes before I saw the one I wanted. We had only a brochure to look at, becasue they hadn't even begun building the models. That first day I brought home the brochure, my then infant dd threw up all over the floorplan. That were her sign for wanting the house, I guess. As construction continued, we fell further and further in love with it. We have been living here for almost 5 years now, and I never want to move.

We only looked at 3 or 4 places before we reached a decision on our house.
