It is prejudice, if there is such a thing. And why no "Straight Pride Parade"? Im a woman and I like men (well one in particular) so why dont I have a parade where I can prance around in costumes and commit public indecency? Oh right, because Im not gay.

A lot of gays feel very put down. I see nothing wrong with them having a Gay Olympics. It was in Chicago this year. I didn't watch but I think it meant a great deal to them.

If you want to organize a Heterosexual Olympics and can find the funding--go for it.

They have a gay Olympics (although the Olympic committee has forbidden them to use that word. They have to call it the gay "games") because it is not about athletic competition. It is about activism and spreading their cause however they can. There are a number of homosexual Olympians, they are not excluded from the regular Olympics, therefore the perceived need for an exclusive homosexual-only Olympics can only be due to their desire to promote the cause of homosexualism.

Could you point us to a 'gay olympics' link? I've never heard of such before...

All of this is just making the rift between GLBTIQ people and straight people bigger. Though I do see the point of having a safe place, olympics seem rather extreme. I'd like to hear more, though.
