I have seen it quite a few times and I loved it,I hate everyone saying a gay movie,it was a love story that simply had a gay couple!Everyone in the movie did a great jon even Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams were great and of course Heath and Jake,it got ripped off at the Oscars.

I agree it was a very good movie...not necessarily a movie for everyone especially for those with a closed mind or religious bigotry.
It did depict life and emotions on a caring and real life level not something that could not take place in any setting.

I could have lived without the "tent scene" but thought the direction was excellent and I learned a bit about Midwest cowboy living/societal pressures.
It also had excellent character development

I took my teenage daughter to see it in the theatre when it was out. I like her to keep an open mind about people and their lifstyles so she won't be ignorant of whats going on around her. All in all we both thought it was an excellently filmed movie. She had her questions after the movie but I was glad I took her to go see it.

I saw it.For some reason I found it boring and was happy when it ended. Probably because I didn't relate to the story and because there was nothing in it beyond expectaction.

I haven't seen it - I refused to completely ruin my mental image of Jake Gyllenhaal....:) I'm not homophobic or anything, I just think he's hot and I don't really want to think about him with a guy.
