The rose of Sharon bushes I have planted are now "sprouting:" new bushes over my grass. I have probably 100 mini bushes about 2in. tall and growing. I need to get rid of them. I can not dig up 100 little bushes.
I used weed killer that will not kill the grass but to no avail.
Help!! Any ideas?? Thanks !!

If you just keep mowing them down they will eventually die out. They need the top above ground to keep growing. I had the same
problem with tiger lillies. They grow so fast. The man cuts my
grass, and mowes the lillies down and the next day they are several inches tall. They are starting to die out now.
