The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart. -Elizabeth Foley

I would include family in that quote...

If i had to start my life over and leave everyone who meant the most to me behind, i would miss my fiance Kevin the most. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me, he has always been there for me, and he has made me the happiest woman ever. I don't think i could leave him behind if i had to start over, i would take him with me. That's how much i would miss him, i love him so much, that he is my world and i would not give him up for anything, not even for having to start my life over.

OMG, I read a story a while back here on this site about a girl who did this very thing! Things didn't turn out the way she hoped between the guy & her, and she ended up soooo regretting that move, because she said now she was far far away, from anyone she knew, and was into her studies, but was so alone. People here tried telling her to go out and make friends, but she had already mentioned in her story that she doesn't do that because she felt wierd in a strange country where she didn't know anywhere to go. I'm not trying to scare you, but I so remembered that story as soon as I read yours!! I remember she too followed some guy over there that she was chatting with... but it didn't work out between them, and she felt wierd living with him because they ended up not clicking once they were living together. They had different habits... and this is the risk we run when we move in with someone, is that we may get along during a conversation or even an outing, because it's only temporary, and each one eventually goes their seperate ways. But you never really know what it's like to "live" with them! And many times we find out the other person has habits we weren't aware of, and we don't click after all. This girl had to find a job to afford moving out on her own, but she said she was exhausted from her studies as it is, that she didn't think she could hold a full-time job, which is what she was going to need in order to afford paying rent all by herself. And now she was "stuck" over there, wishing she was here where at least she "knew" people. She said she knows she had problems here & there with her family members, but it was "nothing" compared to being totally without them. And now she didn't know how to come back. Just wanted to share that with you.......
