A groupie or a roadie, depending on whether they help out or just hang out.

Someone who hangs out with musicians is called a Roadie. Groupies are people who sleep with the musicians. Roadies hang out with the musicians all the time no matter where they are.

Ok here goes:
Roadie/Band tech:Someone who helps with sound/equipment.

Groupie:A person(s) who jumps on the bandwagon and tries to get free passes/CDs or just wants to ride the band's popularity for their own selfish reasons.Mostly women. No sexism intended here.

Fan:Someone who truly likes the music performed by the band and is present at every gig/performnce.These individual(s) are what a musician truly needs..Next to inspiration of course.

Friend:Just a regular dude/dudette.Could be friends from school, work, or anywhere else.Mostly close on personal level with musician.

Boyfriend/girlfriend:Very self-explanatory.Hehe.

I guess that's it...hope i offered enough help.Peace.
