No one looks good in these....WHY fashion designers? I thought the 80s were long over.

Although I do believe there is alot of cool things from the 80's that still look cool now, the tapered leg IS horrifying. I am SURE that I will not submit anyone to the torture of seeing me in a pair of those. Yuck!

I was a teenager of the 80's :)
LOVE THE MUSIC, Clothing, the times, everything!
It was a good decade for me also :)
Tapered Leg Pants, I still continue to wear them and do the peg.
You know, Like TOTALLY!
I AM SO SURE!
What I do think that is funny, is the younger kids thinking they have DISCOVERED something new :) ha ha ha :)

I am!!! Not only do they look bad on everyone but the extremely skinny they just aren't comfortable. The designers have to keep rolling over the old ideas because no one has come up with any new clothing in at least 30 years. Oh well we can just wait 10 years for the good clothes to come back in style.

I actually have two pairs of cigarette jeans (the modern tapered leg), and with the right shoes they look fabulous. I agree that most people (namely the overweight and the very short) can't wear them and look decent, but don't condemn the style. Flares were ridiculous, and it is the perfect time for a change.

Oh no - this is a big problem. I look at pictures of myself wearing them and I think "how could I have worn that"? They are not figure flattering at all. I need the flared leg. I will never wear a tapered leg again.

some fashion designers are running out of ideas so they recycle fashion trends.i think peggy bundy from the married with children tv show look is making a comeback.i hope her big hairstyle won't become trendy too.aqua net hairspray will probably be sold out if it did.
however,i love fashion from the 40's & 50's.shirt dresses are hot and round toe heels are so adorableâ¥

I definitely am, since I'm like 90% of women; nowhere near as tall and skinny as Kate Moss to carry that style off.

They're back well it's about time! I hated boot cut and flared leg all they did was make me look fat. Thank you who ever decided to make them again. Curves are back for real. I loved them in the 80's.And will wear them again.This time I'll make sure to buy lots.
