has to be an engineer, new projects, new situation, more fields to work in. Being a doc may be monotonous, with one specialization and the same thing over and over again. The money is about the same both ways, despite workin ur *** off to get a doc's degree, which takes years and years.

there are so many different fields in either profession. with a doctor, you start off working with the people, then you move into administration. engineers are kinda the opposite - you start off working behind the scenes and once you've proven yourself you work with the clients.

it all depends on what you want and where/how far up on the ladder you want to go. and, every day is a new day in either field - new clients, new challenges, new solutions. i am partial to the engineering field, though!

Doctor, definitely. Every day is different, you are constantly dealing with people and changing situations, and the hours tend to be extreme. Plus, you get to fix people and save lives....how could engineering compete with that? :)
