Just read the Bible, and you'll know what I think of God. God is the creator of all and can take all. God is timeless, and exists in the past, present, and future. God can look like whatever you want, but the Bible says that man was created in an image of God, so jut picture the most biologically superior man that you can think of, and God might look like that.

BTW, this isn't Anthropology, this is Theology, or it could be placed under Psychology, maybe even Sociology

The absolute one of power in everything, the one who creates everything, everything God say are rule. God mean the one that we should devote to cause God would give presents for good ones and punishments for bad ones in the next after life, what do you choose?. We could get the meaning of this from our journey, literature, people, and everything else, even from devil. The image is undefinedable

You don't have to be religious to be spiritual. I can feel a wooded area's cries when it is burning of a fire made from man's stupidity when he forgets to properly take care of this earth. I can feel the wounds of the poor even though I myself have an ability to eat, I remember days when I have felt their pains. I empathize and sympathize and yes, tree hug, I suppose. What does that have to do with the description of God. Well, God is in all of us and if we feel deep enough inside the most profound intensity of our hearts, we know what is right and what is wrong. This is God. For God is all in the world. But most of all, he is love and true love conquers all. It is what I believe God is.

God is defined many different ways, mainly because no one really knows what they are talking about and they just come up with whatever seems grand and next to undescribable to them.

The concept of God contains many inate contradictions. Sort of like trying to divide by zero in mathematics, you come up with all sorts of silly conclusions that are absurd. But instead of being honest and saying they are absurd, believers say that it is a mystery.

The image I have of God is a flawed abstract concept.

Beyond our ability to comprehend. A supreme being that functions in a way totally alien to oeurs. For all I know there are many gods in a society of gods that overlook an infinate number of universes. Maybe we're an extension of god -- dream figures in its plane or whatever. According to one scientist, god's a force, like gravity; to philosiphers its something to account for our incomprehensible feeling and utter fear of the nothingness of the space. Who knows?

Good question, but why is it in the anthropology category?

Anyway, it is impossible to define God in anyway by normal human standards. Some sects even consider it blasphemy and heretical to even try and was punishable by death in the middle ages.

Saying that, here is my definition :) :

God: (Noun/Title) Greatest of all imaginable living beings.

Indescribable.
I believe in the God of the Bible.
He is loving, all-powerful, all-knowing, invincible, and must have an incredible sense of humor (hey, why else would he have made something as funny looking as a giraffe?).

God is a modern day idea not a fact. When I say modern I mean in the last 10,000 years.
