We don't even use it very much in the UK. Most people measure themselves in stone for weight and feet for height. Feet and inches are more natural to most people than centimetres. No one used kilometres unless they have to. We have beer in pints. The only reason anyone uses the system at all is because the EU keeps telling us to and prosecuting shop keepers who don't.

I say the USA should keep using imperial, but they should at least know what metric is.

America is America...we are not followers. When is the rest of the world going to drop the metric system???

We are slowly being taught it in school, but I couldn't actually tell you what inches are in the metric system. I don't know, even though I have tried to. We needed to learn though cause all scientific measurements are done metrically.

We tried (in the 70's we started putting up speed limit signs using the metric system)... but we just don't seem to get it. See we're not as smart as we think we are!

America isn't running a campaign of bombing and torture against the rest of the world just so they can adopt their measurements.
