My skin is very very sensitive, so everytime I shave my legs or bikini area or something, I get these really bad red bumps. I shave with soap and water. I don't know what else to do. Any of you have any ideas?

First of all, do NOT use soap and water. Soap is very drying. You need to try using shaving cream or a shaving gel. You can get skintimate or even use a guy's shaving cream. These work really well. When you shave, try exfoliating first so you don't have ingrown hairs. These hairs is what usually causes you to get bumps. Soak your legs in water for a while, lather with a shaving cream and then shave lightly. I recommend getting an after shave as well. After you finish using the after shave then use lotion to moisturize your legs.

I actuaslly have the same problem that you do. sp for the past few months I have been changing the way I shave, and found that I got many less bumps than I did previously. I first let my legs soak in the steamy shower water so that my skin softens up first and the steam also opens all the pores. Then I use an exfilator with gentle grains in it instead of somethjing very harsh. Then I use skintimate ultra sensitive shaveing foam and use that to shave my legs. Although this process takes a little bit longer to go through, it is very much worth it because I no longer have the bumps.

You shouldn't use soap and water to shave. If you have really sensitive skin then you should look for a gel especially made for sensitive skin. There are plenty of them out there to buy.

Try a shaving cream! It will make the legs less dry which should reduce the red bumps!

Try getting some shaving cream or skin wash for sensitive skin. Aveeno is something you might want to try. It really works for sensitive skin and it's totally healthy (it's made of oats and such).
That's just a thought. If this doesn't work, you might want to go to a doctor and ask what he or she recommends.

get a triple blade razor and good quality gel cream. Let it sit for a few minutes to soften hair.
