And while females currently outnumber males in colleges, there is a disproportionate representation of men in the hard sciences (fields that require technical aptitude, like engineering and computer science)... while women, unable to handle an academically rigoruous curriculum, stick to "soft" fields like psychology, lib arts, and woman's studies.

First there were females, only then did nature bring about men. The greater variance possible was a survival factor.
Then males started protecting the females and take care of anything to with outside threats. Which included inventions (wheel, bow and arrow, spears, stone cutting tools). So their brains developed for that, whereas females didn't need that. Same thing with making decisions.
That's why most women are still lousy at that too.

I am a music education major and I am required to take 18+ credit hours a semester. Factor in hours of practies a day ontop of that and having to satisfy the education department along with the music department. I have an education class comeing up that's seven credit hours. I'm almost a senior just by my credit hours but still have three more years with the 18+ credit hour per semester schedule. I recently talked to an older male in the music department who is working on an education degree also. He is a retired scientist that worked for NASA. I just assumed that music was easier but he corrected me and said that the music classes were harder than anything he did for NASA.

They are more self sacrificing for their men and children than the men are for their women and children. Children pick up on this. Women have their girlfriends, but don't bond to them like men to their male friends, because, once again, women are more self sacrificing for men and their needs.

SAT scores say otherwise. Boys and girls are even. The differences lie more in economic background. For example, kids from schools in wealthier neighborhoods tend to score higher than kids from poorer neighborhoods.

As to why aren't more women taking engineering and computer science classes.... What woman would want to spend her days surrounded by ignorant people such as yourself?
