Six manned missions - Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 - all landed on the moon.
Three manned missions - Apollo 8, 10 and 13 - "reached" the moon, but did not land there.

Please, please do not take notice of those who call the moon landings fakes.
These people have no imagination and are easily led into anything. There is no way that all the tens of thousands of people involved in the Apollo missions could have been duped into thinking what they were doing was fake.
It is about as nonsensical as all those idiots who say that airliners did not hit the twin towers, when thousands of New Yorkers actually saw it happen.
To be honest, these people who love these idiotic conspiracies have no more sense that the maniacal people who strap bombs to themselves and blow up dozens of innocents.
By the way, anyone who states that the video shots from the moon should have showed stars have not the vaguest idea about photography. If you flood an area with light (as the moon bases had to be) and take pictures, the camera will not show stars. It's an impossibility. To show the stars the camera lens would have to be opened up full, and then the ambient lighting of the area would flood the camera with light and you would get nothing but a whiteout.
I implore all people who use the internet to find things out, to think before they take on board anything they read. Think, think, and question, and try to get the other side of the argument.

Six missions landed on the moon. Twelve men in all. All of the twelve were White.
The landings were not faked. The scientific data from the Apollo mission does not show indications of fakery, and there's too much of it to be the work of conspiracy theorists. The reason you can't see stars from the sunlit side of the moon is glare from the surface. It's worse than trying to see the stars from the downtown area of a big city at night: too many lights.
You can see the stars from the moon at night. But the astronauts were there only for a week, and, as far as I know, they were all sent for a week in a daylit area.
If you are looking for a conspiracy theory fraud, they do exist. Some of them, such as the "Holocaust" and trendy UFO-ology, are especially famous and have deceived many people. But the Apollo moon landings did happen: Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 all landed.

No they were all faked in order to get a hand up on the Soviet Union. Check out pictures without stars. The Moon has no atmosphere, you should be able to see for miles. We never reached the moon. Apollo 13 attempted but was shut down by the Van Allen Belts.

Thank you nick s, that was a well-thought out argument. "Puppy" and "gilligan" should probably go back to school or at least learn a thing or two about spaceflight, before they spout crap they saw on FOX or read on the internet.
To answer, there were 6 missions that landed.
go to www.badastronomy.com for a real scientific take on all the idiotic conspiracy theories.

Apollo 11-17
Apollo 13 was only a fly-by because of mechanical failures.
