The punk culture is comprised of poor, often close to homeless people in large cities that make most of their own clothing and products as a rebellion against society norm. If you shop at hot topic you are more likely an "alternatively" dressed teen who considers herself misunderstood and is filled with angst. Wear something flattering and modest and people won't label you as something you are not.

What you choose to wear to school can be dangerous. Consider resent school shootings and gang violence and how it can relate to types of clothing and colors. I would advise neutral earth tone colors and dressing conservatively. Don't let peer pressure dictate who you are or what you should wear. Be the best you can be, holding a reputation as a punk won't get too far in life.

Hey, you consider yourself "punk" right? Punk, for me is, to be yourself, rebel yourself from everything and everybody. A way of expresing yourself. Our statement is "Do It Yourself" So I recomend you to be more creative, discover who you are and waht can you do. I follow this kind of "culture" and sometimes shop at Hot Topic, but I rather stay home and make something of my own. Something nobody would have.Try something new for that day :Make something your own, and let ppl know who are you.

They have this really cute sleeveless hoodie with skulls on it. I would wear it with a pair of black capris and a bright colored tank top under it. Finish off the look with some cool jewelery.

wear your FAVORITE outfit. something that screams you. it should be a mild choice. dont go too punk or softie. of course, all of the clothes you have are you but which one out of there reallty attracts people who are similar to you?
