I don't think our military would hide amongst our citizenry like Hezbollah. Its unethical!

Israel was given its land by the people who ruled it the Birtish after petition sanctioned by the UN in 1948, They had to fight heir way in. now they have given the Sinai back to Egypt, Golan heights back to Syria-Lebanon, tried to help create a Palestinian state, and still terrorists attack the country.

I think there is some irony to this.
Consider this...
In the US for many years there's been a peaceful invasion of ileagal imigration that is greatly impacting the society. Imagine that happening in Israel.
If there were a prolonged period of peace in Isreal, and Arabs and Jews were to live and work peacefuly together, eventually the Arab population, by their sheer numbers, would dilute and disolve Israel and Jewish cultural identity out of existence.
There have already been signs of this very thing happening, much to the dismay of Orthodox Jews who might even be thankful that the Arab extremists are stirring up trouble and in the process re-igniting Israeli nationalist zeal.

Israel has tried to mind their borders and live in peace. They've wanted support of the global community and didn't get it. Remember all of the attacks on their interior that they've sustained for years. I guess they have to do what they have to do. Hez hides behind citizens. Most civilized countries try to minimize civilian casualties. I don't think Hez cares, bc their goal is to survive no matter what. The core problems are that hatred is being taught to the upcoming generations. If peace is brokered and trust is built, but then attacks continue - who can blame anyone for then taking action? There are no easy answers.

i think we (the U.S.) should get the heck out of the middle east and let them bomb the crap out of each other in peace without killing any more of our guys and girls. the place has been nothing but trouble for the last 2,000 years, i'm sick of it.

as for israel making the world a safer place, that's crap too. they just want to grab more arab land and this is a good excuse. I definately don't think the US should back israel up in any way, shape or form. they started it, they can finish it.
