The shoes are really comfortable, but all the noise makes me want to never wear them again! Anyone have any ideas on how to stop the evil, "squeak, crunch"?

Thanks for all your replies. YES, I know that they are crappy knock-offs. Thank you for enlightening me. The point of my question was to see if anyone had ever actually SOLVED such a problem without having to throw shoes out. Vegetable oil man, you are the winner thus far.

Try soaking them in vegetable oil. Then squeeze out the extra and wash off the outside with soap.

If you have the reciept and the shoe box take them back, and get your money back to put towards non-fake cork wedges.

sorry i dont, i would just thro them out becuase if you keep wearing them your gonna be like at the mall and they'll brake! so either just leave them to sit in your closet or toss 'em.

Get a "real" pair?

I honestly have no idea what you mean by "fake." Designer knockoff, perhaps?
