a factory refers to the building in which something is made....a company is the legal entity that makes it..... the company I work for has several factories all around the world ...but is all the same company..many companies only have one factory but it is the company and not the factory that someone would make a contract with

Well essentially a company owns a factory but not vise versa a factory is just a place while a company is an entity

Companies comprises from large to small businesses while factories are large industrial buildings where workers manufacture goods or supervise machines processing one product into another.

A factory can be a branch in a company or a small company itself.
