Does any one know where I can get personal checks that are for special occasions such as birthday, wedding?

Your bank will have what you need ... for a fee!

You might have to print them up yourself using one of the print shop softwares available at office supply houses. It is NOT likely that the banks are going to be of much help to you,because there isn't much of a demand for these type of checks.
