I want light purple on the walls, a darker shade on the vault part and the darkest color on the ceiling...I want the, to fade into the next so there isn't so much difference between the 3, are there any painting techniques that would allow me to do ithis? mabe add water to the colors and swipe the brush? i don't know, please help!

don't add water

use a roller, and slowly mix more of your transending color as you go down...start at the top

Use a roller brush and two pans. As you want the color to fade, start adding a little white paint to the darker. Or double load the roller. Sounds great! Good luck!

You could sponge the lighter colors over the darker colors so that the dividing line isn't visible.

Get a color book and look at blues and greens. Pick any 'cool' color that will keep you in a good mood. Grey is a depressing color so stay away from that. Good luck!
