I had that problem a couple of days ago. What I did was turn of the computer. And change the proxy settings. If thats doesn't work then maybe theres sometihng wrong with your connection.

you're installation the messenger to non everlasting folder i think, so next time once you receive it uncheck the field asserting "close whilst receive is executed" and whilst the receive is executed click on open folder and you will see the report there.

mine is working fine but i have had that problem before I have had to uninstall and re-install it in order to get it to work

reboot.if it persists,re-download the messenger.
