hi all,iam ttc my 4th child,had period on 5th july and had ov pains roughly on 21st/22ndjuly but then on wedesday when i got up went a loo and had blood(red)only a little all day wed and thursday,and has now totally stopped was this my period?i normally have 5 day periods really heavy and have brown for few days but not this time,no period pains,nothin??

Go to your doctor asap i had exactly the same gap in betwen my period before and bleeding,etc and the doc said it could have been a miscarrige luckily it wasnt and it was just a preiod but i would 100% get this checked out just incase

You could be pregnant and have had implantation bleeding . That will sometimes be some red on and off and then some brown on and off / but it is VERY light and dosen't last more than a couple of days. You can usually take a hpt 2-3 dys after the implantation bleeding and get a positive. Or you might have had areally light period this month ,but I have had the implantation blleding during all of my pregnancies. I would usually see it about 6 - 10 days after ovulation.

Well it could have been. But if I were you I would call my doctor right away. It could be a number of serious signs if it was not your period. Just call the doctor and go in and get checked better safe than sorry

It is best that you go to your doctor or do a home pregnancy test as you stated how long you usually bleed for and this latest one was shorter.

If your period is longer, shorter, heavier or lighter... strange in any way shape or form it is best to check this with a doctor.
