I always thought Emo was a commedian in the 80's wo was a total freak and a weirdo!
That's what I thought it was referring to?

Emo is new generation goth, but instead of having a fück off attitude, they are all woe is me attitude

Emo-
Suburban kiddos who moan on and on about how "awful" their life is. Males sport greasyyy & long ebony hair and TIGHT jeans. They claim they are noncomformists, yet they conform to the media's image of them and listen to mainstream bands like Hawthorne Heights. Just another silly label/stereotype.
REAL EMO is a form of emotive music with started in the eighties. I would name some bands, but I really can't remember any.

Emo is a style of music...a few of the bands would be Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, All American Rejects...I love it, but my 13 year old daughter says I'm too old to like it...LOL!!

Its when people cut themselves and think that there is no use for anything and they are always depressed. They are like goths. Its also a style of music.

emo is a style. they usually cut themselves, but not all. they sorta think they're above all humanity and are all mopey and sadful. then there's just the people that dress emo but aren't all mopey. they're faux-emo. the emos sometimes dress all goth-punk and stuffs like that. i
