Once again, not a question. What are you talking about? The president has two daughters. Sen. McCain's son just volunteered for the Marines. Funny, but it was the ending of the draft by Nixon that ended the protests of the Vietnam war. Now it is perfectly honorable to serve or not. Are you saying there should be a draft?

I've always said if the Presidents daughter were involved in the war, it would soon be over. I'm here for our military, but I do not support Bush, If we all had money & clout maybe there wouldn't be any wars, right. Why can't we all learn to just get along? Fight fight fight, is that all there is anymore.Pray for our troops that they may all be safe from harms way.

No war is noble. That's hyperbole designed to justify war to the masses. The children of members of Congress (and the Bush administration) aren't subject to participating in war except as casual observers from afar. As long as they don't have to get any blood on their own hand, they're fine with engineering the destruction of the world.

By the way, congratulations to Jimmy McCain, Senator John McCain's son, for joining the U.S. Marines. That takes courage, something our 'honorable' members of Congress and members of the Bush administration, lack. Like father, like son! -RKO-

Because they think the poor are more expendable. Congressman's and presidents' kids should be fighting war just the same as the poor. But the sad part is, their parents have the clout to get them out of it.

Didn't Sentaor John McCain's son just join the Marines yesterday? How did you miss that fact?

And who says the military is only for the poor? OMG, some of you people are soooooooo ignorant. It makes me weep for the future of this country.

War is as far from noble as you can get. They just say that to brainwash poor saps into enlisting.

Yeah, if they believe in it so much they should put their money where their mouth is and get into the fight themselves.
