A music download - that is one track is around 80p in the UK. A lot of people file share to get music, but that breaches copyright and annoys the artists. This is despite the fact since file sharing began the sales of Cd's have soared! People now buy the CD, rip it (copy the music to MP3) and share it with friends. you can share with strangers using Lime wire or e-donkey. You can share with friends using virtually any Instant messenger like Yahoo, MSN, Skype, ICQ, etc. It is safer sharing with friends. You can also get a lead that connects a DVB box - that's Digital video broadcasting (freeview) to some MP3 players. you can then record to MP3 from stations like the hits or TMF. Again you would be in breach of copyright, but no more than if you recorded to a VCR and no one complains about that! You can get the lead from Maplin. Phono to 3.5mm jack.

Songs usually are $.99 cents apiece. And if you only like 1-3 songs on a CD a savings. You're not paying the average $18 a CD. Movies are usually $1.99 once you join a club. But they would take up a lot of space on your computer! Would need a DVD burner. This is the only LEGAL way of acquiring these things.
