my friend lives in canada, and i dont know if there are any sites that i can use to do a serch on his name i really need to contact him there is an emergency in his family...so how can i use the internet to find him?

Can't his family find him? Try sites like myspace.com or the other sites like it. Maybe he has a profile. Have you looked in the yahoo directory or other directories? There are many many ways to find someone.

Firstly reopen this question and edit or modify it by adding brief details of him, including his name and age. Secondly go to the foot of the page to the Canadian section and put a similar question in there. You may get a result............

ummm... if he has a myspace account, theres a search engine there. You would not believe how many people I have found all over the country who I've lost touch with. It's unbelieveable...
