Doc Doom would mess Captain America up big time. Cap's one shot would be to try to hit Doom's armor in a vulnerable spot with his shield, and he doesn't know where the weak points are. I don't think that Doom would necessarily condescend to crude physical combat with Cap, but he would blast him with some ray and leave him lying there helpless, dictating an egotistic footnote to his memoirs as he went.

Doctor Doom always gives whoever he's up against a run for their money, so as much as I would love to see Captain America prevail, in this case I would have to side with Doom because he would have the better odds with the battle armor and all, although I would still be rooting for Cap all the way.

Yeah, these guys fought before. And even though Cap's not as big a thorn in Doom's side as the Fantastic 4, Cap would still win due to the fact that he's better conditioned, and a better fighter.

Captain American because his shield is made of Adamantium and he had speedy healing like Wolverine, both part of the Weapon X program.

Capt. all the way. He can move, and his sheild would easily slice through Dooms armor and his under-roo's. Doom is smart, but he is not the taction that Capt. is.
