Many people support that by saying it's Hezbollah's fault, Lebanon is a terrorist country, etc. Don't you forget that what the US said about Iraq about weapon of mass destruction? Where is the weapons???? I don't support war at all because I love PEACE.
If you support WAR, then you should pay for it. Remember, we (the American people) pay with our taxes for the war and rebuilding of Iraq. It cost billions of dollars. Now, the President of the US told the reporters that we are going to rebuild Lebanon with American people's taxes.
You have to think critically that everything we do will have the effect. You know that American's economy are already crippled with bankruptcy, outsourcing, slow economy, lay-off, high prices, increase taxes, high debts. Think about it. Those taxes could be used for our own education, rebuilding our own economy, etc instead of war. I watched the owner of Ben & Jerry ice cream on PBS talked about disproportion (not balance) of our nation budget.

I see that most answers support WAR.
Well, I hope there'll be WORLD WAR III and you can all support the destruction and the end of the world. Then, I hope you all will be happy with your narrow minds and selfishness.

You're confusing apples and oranges.
I'm a liberal. I don't support Bush...but I can tell you that if someone threw rockets at me and kidnapped my citizens, I would probalby hit them back too. And hard. So they wouldn't do it again.
And yes, I think Iraq is a horrible waste of lives and taxpayer money.
Should we help Lebanon? I don't know, but I think it can't hurt to send some food aid. People are starving. Its a tough thing.

Since you don't have your e-mail posted I had to answer a different question to reply to when to told me Lebanon is not a terrorist state. Luckily you pretty much posted the same question twice.
I can tell you think that September 11, is in the history books but I remember what we all went through that day. All of the bleeding heart diplomacy was recognized for its ridiculousness. There was no doubt in anyone's mind that these were a people out to kill innocents. they do not care about the Geneva convention or freedom to the people. They are Islamic fascists lying to there people blatantly. They tell there people if they mardeur themselves there will be 70 or however many virgins waiting for them on the other side. They show fake videos to there children of Jews eating babies.
After that Bush declared no more bull sh*t, If you harbor terrorists you are terrorists. And that is exactly what Hezbollah is. That is what there people of Lebanon voted for and now they are reaping the consequences. Their leaders are hiding behind children and then calling the Israel's dog's. So if you support war for peace Why are you still supporting these people who don't believe in peace?
Oh and by the way on June 22, 2006 it was finally declassified that there were over 500 weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq since 2003. Clearly showing that Saddam was in violation of U.N treaty. How you like them apples.

I am not taking either side. Israel is being outrageously imperialistic (making America proud, maybe that's why they are helping them, heh), by giving pathetic reasons for huge-scale invasions. I don't know why I haven't seen, splattered all over the news, Israel's defense or denial of civilian deaths or UN deaths, like what America does when that happens. They are hardly even TRYING to apologize, from what I can see.
Lebanon and the Hezbollah are just as terrorizing in their attack practices. Terrorists by the 'common American' meaning, they are just as viscious and at fault, except this time around they happen to be on the receiving end while the media is overreporting it, thanks to Israel's aggressiveness.
Neither of them are right, and this struggle is necessary in this area - with such turmoil ever present, this is a chance, after hostilities, to usher in an age of peace. Peace in the Middle East can only come, in this era, after a major conflict.

Well, dont say Lebanon is terrorist because Hezbollah is terrorist.
Hezbollah didnt say anything about beginning the war, and lebanese people are just paying the price of that war, and Israeliens too. But the Lebanese government can't be opposed to Hezbollah, cz if it happens there will be civil war in Lebanon. So maybe one of the sides should stop fire, to stop killing innocent people, that are paying their lives, their family's lives, their homes..., so let's all hope for a ceasefire, as soon as possible, cz we all hate war

You say only those that support the war should pay. Does that mean I don't have to pay property taxes that go to schools because I don't have kids? Face it, no one really has a say where their taxes get spent so chill.
And remember, Hezbollah ATTACKED Israel first. If I walk up and pop you in the mouth and you fight back, can I cry because you hit me more than I hit you? Do I get to cry because your response wasn't at the same level as mine? Of course not. You pick a fight, you get what you get. Life isn't fair and it never has been nor will it ever be. Deal with it.

I support Israel in this conflict. To do otherwise would be irrational as it is illogical.
"Many people support that by saying it's Hezbollah's fault, Lebanon is a terrorist country, etc. Don't you forget that what the US said about Iraq about weapon of mass destruction? Where is the weapons???? " -Your questions
The weapons that you speak of in regards to Israel's conflict with Hezzbolah are being fired on a daily basis on Israeli Cities. The current conflict is not connected to the US war in Iraq and the removal of Saddam Hussien. However the issue of WMD is an issue on a macro scale because Iran has expressed its intentions to develop a nuclear program and its desire to destroy Israel.
"If you support WAR, then you should pay for it."
War is sometimes an unfortunate necessity in order to defend territorial sovereignty and peace for any nation state. Without war there wouldn't be progress. Read your history books about how wars produced positive or negative change based on who the victor was. The West liberated Europe and Asia for example after World War II. Would it have been better to let the Nazis and Imperial Japan stay in power? The colonies fought for independence from the British, would it have been better for the colonies to continue to allow British subjugation? With the United States as the victor over the Confederacy, allowed for slavery to be abolished and for progress in civil rights. I could go on but as you can see war (when the right side wins) is clearly a necessity.
"You know that American's economy are already crippled with bankruptcy, outsourcing, slow economy, lay-off, high prices, increase taxes, high debts."
How is the American economy crippled? We are not in a recession; we are not in a depression. The unemployment rate is only 4.6% and the economy continues to grow. Even a person who crosses our borders illegally can get jobs!!!!
I agree that Federal Taxes are high but they are much lower then they were compared to 10 years ago after the Bush Tax plan. However states in which Democrats are in power are going to have high tax rates, but this has nothing to do with the issues of Iraq or wars in the Middle East, but instead has to do with the view of Democrats (as much of party base exists today as in Howard Dean, not JFK, Lieberman, etc) and their belief in high taxes in order to prevent people from making money and enjoying their money.

Well, let's see...
A country indiscriminately launching hundreds of rockets at cities of another country for the purpose of terrorizing it's citizens. Where have I seen this before?
Oh, I remember now, the V-1 rockets, the V-2 buzz bombs. That's right, Hitler and the Nazis (sounds like a new rock group).
But what about a group of people bent on wiping out the Jews, where have I seen this before?
Oh, yes. The concentration camps. Hitler and the Nazis again.
And the grandparents of the people who justify and support Hezbollah were the same ones saying "zeig heil" in the 1930's
Nuff said.

Such destruction by Israel of infastructure and killing of civilians, including so many children, is a violation of international law and a disgrace. US support for the barbarity is similarly disgraceful. Israel is morally and legally responsible to make restitution.
The plan to invade Lebanon was developed by Israel before the capture of the soldier and Israel just used that as pretext. Similarly, the US apparently gave Israel the green light in advance to invade and destroy Lebanon as a step toward US ambitions to invade Iran and Syria.

As long as Hezbollah is there, innocent people will die. Hezbollah don't care same as Bin Laden wouldn't mind to blow the world trade center again.
